Platform Role
SS3D provides a platform connecting buyers and sellers of parts and components for vehicles, appliances, and electronics. SS3D is not a party to any transaction between users. All sales, negotiations, and agreements are solely between the buyer and seller. SS3D does not inspect, verify, or guarantee any listed items.
Seller Obligations
- Provide accurate and truthful descriptions of all listed parts, including condition, compatibility, and any known defects.
- Only list items you legally own and have the right to sell.
- Respond to buyer inquiries in a timely manner (within 48 hours).
- Set fair and transparent pricing. Hidden fees or misleading price representations are not allowed.
Buyer Obligations
- Inspect parts before completing a purchase whenever possible. SS3D is not responsible for buyer dissatisfaction after a transaction is completed.
- Communicate with sellers through the platform messaging system to maintain a record of all agreements.
- Leave honest and fair reviews based on your actual experience with the seller and the purchased item.
Prohibited Items
- Stolen goods or items without proof of legal ownership.
- Recalled or safety-banned automotive parts.
- Counterfeit or replica parts misrepresented as genuine OEM parts.
- Hazardous materials including loose asbestos, uncontained fluids, or improperly stored batteries.
- Weapons, explosives, or any items illegal to sell in your jurisdiction.
- Listings containing links or requests to complete payment outside the platform.
- Explicit, sexual, or inappropriate content, including images.
- Content depicting, exploiting, or endangering minors in any way.
Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises between a buyer and seller, the following process applies:
- Contact the seller directly through the platform to attempt resolution.
- If no response within 48 hours, report the issue to SS3D support.
- SS3D will review the dispute and may request evidence from both parties.
- SS3D will issue a resolution recommendation. While SS3D can remove listings and suspend accounts, it cannot force refunds or returns between users.
Listing Removal
SS3D reserves the right to remove any listing at any time for the following reasons:
- Violation of these marketplace terms or the general Terms of Service.
- Multiple reports from other users regarding the listing or seller.
- Extended inactivity (listings with no seller response for 90+ days).
Fees & Commissions
The SS3D marketplace is currently free for all users — no listing fees, no commission on sales, and no transaction charges. SS3D reserves the right to introduce fees in the future with at least 30 days advance notice to all users.
Data Retention
- Upon account deletion, all active listings will be removed from the marketplace within 30 days.
- Transaction records and messages may be retained for up to 3 years for legal compliance and dispute resolution purposes, in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.
