SS3D ("we", "our", "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal information.
Data We Collect
- Vehicle Photos: Photos you take for AI diagnostics are processed temporarily and stored locally on your device. Photos may be synced to our cloud database for persistence.
- Diagnostic Data: AI-generated analysis results, condition scores, and identified issues are stored to provide you with history and repair guidance.
- App Settings: Your language preference, skill level, notification settings, and subscription plan are stored locally and synced to our cloud.
- Feedback: When you submit feedback or report issues, your message, rating, and basic device information are collected.
- Device Information: We collect basic browser/device information (user agent string) for debugging and compatibility purposes.
How We Use Your Data
- To provide AI-powered vehicle diagnostics and repair guidance.
- To save your scan history and allow you to continue assessments.
- To improve our AI models and app experience based on feedback.
- To provide personalized content based on your language and skill level.
AI Processing
Vehicle photos are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI for analysis. Anthropic processes this data according to their privacy policy. Photos are not stored by Anthropic beyond the API request. AI results are estimates only and should not replace professional mechanical inspection.
Data Storage
Your data is stored locally on your device (localStorage) and synced to Supabase cloud database hosted in the EU. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS. You can delete your local data at any time by clearing browser storage.
Third-Party Services
- Anthropic (Claude AI): Processes vehicle photos for AI diagnostics. Subject to Anthropic's privacy policy.
- Supabase: Cloud database for data persistence. Hosted in EU with encryption at rest.
- Vercel: Application hosting and content delivery. Subject to Vercel's privacy policy.
- RevenueCat: Subscription and purchase management. Processes purchase tokens from Google Play. Subject to RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Camera Access
The app requests camera access for vehicle scanning and AR features. Camera access is only used when you actively scan a vehicle. No background camera access occurs. You can revoke camera permission at any time through your device settings.
Your Rights
- You can delete all your data by clearing your browser/app storage.
- You can request a copy of your data by contacting us.
- EU users have additional rights under GDPR including data portability, rectification, and erasure.
